Nigel Seopardie IMI, T.Eng

Director

Nigel started his training with Mercedes-Benz in 1988 and worked his way up through the ranks to Senior Technician and then Workshop Manager. In 2003 Nigel left Mercedes Benz to set up his own Independent Mercedes-Benz company, now NJS Solutions (South East) Ltd.

Nigel’s main responsibility as director, is overseeing the day-to-day running of the company, as well as providing technical training and support to other members of staff. He is also responsible for very technical and complex issues that today’s modern engine management systems bring.

Nigel is also known for his vast knowledge of Mercedes-Benz classic cars in which he was trained on during his time with Mercedes-Benz and which now takes up most of his time during the day.

Margaret (Maggie) Seopardie

Personal Assistant and Company Secretary

Maggie provides administrative and secretarial support to the Director.

She, together with Joe, is responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, dealing with customers face to face and by telephone.

She has a good knowledge in the use of the Mercedes-Benz online ordering system and DSB (Digital Service Booklet) ensuring that service history is added to the Mercedes-Benz online database, maintaining service history

She also works closely alongside the Director in managing the company to ensure that customers are dealt with in a pleasant, professional, fair and friendly manner. She has also gained a vast knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz product.

Maggie is also responsible for the company’s HR and financial affairs.

George Seopardie

Workshop Manager

George joined NJS Solutions (South East) Ltd in 2015 after completing his A levels. Whilst working at NJS Solutions he then studied for his apprenticeship at North West Kent College one day a week studying for his Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair which he successfully completed in 2018.

Since becoming part of the team George has progressed to become Workshop Manager. He is responsible for the day to day running of a busy workshop and giving assistance to other members of staff as and when required. He has excellent mechanical, communication and computer skills and is confident in all types of vehicle repair, ie engine rebuilds, turbo replacement, gearbox repairs and servicing etc. He also has a good knowledge of vehicle electrics including CAN-BUS and FlexRay and has already undertaken his IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement and will soon be undertaking his level 4. He is also competent in carrying out 3D 4 wheel alignments and necessary adjustments.

George is also trained in using the Mercedes-Benz Star machine in relation to diagnosing fault codes, carrying out software upgrades and the coding of control units.

George is also very knowledgeable in the use of the Mercedes-Benz on line parts ordering system and entering service history onto DSB (Digital Service Booklet).

George has also gained certification in Air Conditioning, Fuel Contamination and Additives and has attended various workshops.

When time permits he is also being trained by Nigel to further his ability in auto electrics.

Joe Shutt

Service Manager

Joe joined the team at NJS Solutions (South East) Ltd (Dec. 2020).

He works closely with Nigel and Maggie to ensure the smooth operation of the company. He is responsible for the day to day running of the workshop, taking workshop bookings and liaising with customers. He is also responsible for ensuring that all the technicians are allocated their jobs and that he is kept up to date on how work is progressing throughout the day and thereafter.

Since joining NJS Solutions Joe has introduced a new garage management system which enables us to keep a much better track of work in progress, bookings and customer history. He has an excellent knowledge of the system and has trained the relevant staff.

He has excellent communication skills and is responsible for liaising with customers and other companies including warranty. He is also responsible for pre ordering parts and invoicing customers.

Joe has also introduced and organised our new phone system with HiHi. The HiHi phones also allows us to run our garage management system through them, with removable ipads which enable the technician to video their findings and send them to the customer if required.

He is also responsible for all our social media.

Joe is also confident in using the Mercedes-Benz on line ordering system and DSB (Digital Service Booklet) which allows us to add service history to the Mercedes-Benz service database.

Joe is also hands-on in the workshop if we are ever short staffed as he is an ex BMW trained technician. Basically a very good all- rounder and fits in well with the team at NJS.

Jake Cork

Jake joined the team at NJS Solutions in August 2022 as an apprentice technician. NJS then enrolled Jake at Bromley College in September 2022 to undertake his Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship (Level Ill) and is now near completion taking his final exams.

During his time at NJS Jake has gained a good knowledge of the Mercedes Benz product and is confident in a number of mechanical repairs, ie clutches, removing engines, gearboxes etc, has certification in Air Conditioning and competent in the use of the 4 wheel alignment machine. He is currently being trained further to enhance his mechanical and electrical skills and is currently being trained using the Mercedes Star machine.

Jake also has a good knowledge of our Tech man booking system and office procedures and is a good team member.

Freddie Summerfield

Fred joined the team at NJS Solutions in September 2022 as an apprentice technician. NJS then enrolled Fred at Bromley College to undertake his Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship (Level Ill) and is currently undertaking his exams.

During his time at NJS Fred's main responsibilities are to undertake the vast amounts of servicing that comes through the door each day and any follow up work that requires attention, ie brakes, discs, suspension work and 4 wheel alignments. Fred also has certification in Air Conditioning and is being trained in the use of the Mercedes Benz star machine.

Fred also has a good knowledge of our Techman booking system and office procedures and is a good team member.
